Active Energies Solar is looking for Lead Solar Technicians to work out of our Eagle-Vail Colorado location. We are looking to hire year-round employees wanting to learn and grow with an ever-expanding business. We are a family owned, employee-oriented business that specializes in residential and commercial installations in the Rocky Mountain region. This position is for a quality driven individual with an eye for detail, mechanically and technically inclined. Construction experience is a plus. Higher starting wage with NABCEP certification or previous electrical or solar experience. The lead solar installation technician will scope, develop, and drive projects to completion. The lead solar installation technician will create exceptional systems of the highest quality and be empowered to make all decisions to achieve success.
Responsibilities:

Layout, assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware

Mechanical /structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment

Train new employees and supervise crew for quality assurance

Site visits for project planning

Communicate with customers in a professional manner

Preparation and cleanup of job site

Additional duties as required
Qualifications:

US work authorization (Required)

High School of equivalent (Preferred)

Valid Driver’s License
Requirements:

Comfortable on roofs of varied height and slope

Must be able to lift panels, climb ladders and work in various weather conditions.

Motivated team player, ability to work collaboratively with a team of installers.

Positive mental attitude with the willingness to learn and evolve.

NABCEP Associate/Professional preferred – must be willing to pursue within 30 days of hire.

High School graduate, college graduate preferred.
