Active Energies Solar is looking for Solar Technicians to work out of our Eagle-Vail Colorado location. We are looking to hire seasonal employees wanting to learn and grow with an ever-expanding business. We are a family owned, employee-oriented business that specializes in residential and commercial installations in the Rocky Mountain region. Our success is driven by our staff, we believe in investing in the personal growth and advancement of our employees. This position is for a quality driven individual with an eye for detail, mechanically and technically inclined. Construction experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- US work authorization (Required)
- High School of equivalent (Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
Job Type
- Full time 40 Hours
- Monday- Thursday 10-hour shifts with some overtime opportunities on Fridays
Pay
- Starting at $23.00 Higher starting wage with experience and certifications
- Bonus pool
Responsibilities
- Layout, assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
- Mechanical /structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Preparation and cleanup of job site
- Additional duties as required
Requirements
- Comfortable on roofs of varied height and slope
- Must be able to lift panels, climb ladders and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable attendance
- Motivated team player, ability to work collaboratively with a team of installers
- Positive mental attitude with the willingness to learn and evolve
