Since 2007, it has been our pleasure to work with Active Energies on two very important LEED projects. First, Megan Gilman skillfully guided our development team for our 6,000 SF home in Cordillera Valley Club to achieve the first LEED Gold for Homes Certification in Eagle County. Later, Megan tenaciously worked with our property management staff as well as the tenants of Brookside Park, a 32,000 SF Class “A” office building in Avon, to achieve LEED Certification under the Existing Buildings program of the USGBC.
In both cases, Megan and her partner Jason Weingast worked intelligently and persistently to execute affordable, economically sensible sustainable development strategies that not only helped our projects gain recognition from the USGBC but also made them better buildings to live in.
